Our recently refurbished farm shop is the main outlet for the farm's meat produce. It is primarily a butcher's shop with skilled butchers in charge, but it also sells Tablehurst eggs, flour and apple juice, some vegetables in season, organic dairy produce from Plaw Hatch Farm and other local suppliers and a range of other food products. We process and sell between one and one and half bodies of beef, up to 5 lambs, up to 6 pigs and about 180 chickens every week (and 400 turkeys at Christmas). We are also fortunate that all our beef, sheep and pigs are slaughtered locally and in a small-scale abattoir.
In recent years many Tablehurst meat products including beef, pork and sausages have won Soil Association Organic Food Awards. The range of cuts and other products is very extensive indeed and encompasses beef, lamb, pork and poultry.
The shop is open from 9.00a.m. until 5.00p.m. on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
