The market garden at Plaw Hatch covers an area of 5.6 hectares in total with about 1900 m2 under polytunnels. All the seasonal vegetables are sold directly through our farm shop, freshly harvested every morning and grown to Demeter standards, irrigated only with our own spring water. We grow some soft fruit and a few kitchen herbs also. Companion plants, flowers and hedges encourage beneficial insects and wildlife into our beautiful garden.
In the course of a year, the garden produces over one hundred varieties of vegetables, herbs, fruit and salad, all of which are available through the farm shop.
